Our Story

Alec and Michelle Brogan met in 1997 in Orlando, FL and were married 11 months later in 1998. Throughout that span of time they have had two beautiful boys, Zander and Brody. The vision of Revolution Ministries came one night in August of 2000 as the Lord woke Michelle up and laid out the vision for the a ministry called Dance Revolution. In less than a year, The Brogan’s were on the road hosting and producing a completely unique Christian dance convention all across this nation.

As they started their travels using the visual arts and high energy conventions to spread the gospel, their first convention was canceled due to the attacks of 9/11, and their second had approximately 4o people in attendance. The “humble beginnings” didn’t stop them from pursuing the call, and within a few years, hundreds and thousands were experiencing this God-given event. Altars were flooded as the visual arts and the Word of God came alive to a generation in need for a fresh new perspective. In 2007, the Brogan’s also began a new God-directed facet of ministry called “Ingredients Training Program.” This is a 9 month discipleship program where young men and women are trained up to use their gifting and talents in dance in collaboration with biblical application and evangelism so that they may one day be prepared to minister to the world using the visual arts.

At the commencement of 2010, the Lord gave Michelle another vision that would launch them into this next incredible phase of ministry. The Lord spoke the word REVEAL loud and clear. In the vision, the Lord began to show a museum filled with wonderful art, paintings, sculptures and 3D images that depicted Michelle’s life from her beginning to the present moment. She recognized all the many times and seasons in the scenes, but saw that even the darkest events of her life were displayed as the most glorious works of art she had ever seen. The Lord began to show her that this was how HE viewed those times in her life. As they continued on their journey through Michelle’s life, they came to a monumental object covered with a very large white drape. At this very moment, the Lord said wait here. As Michelle began to wait, she realized that even though only a few minutes had passed in the vision, the elapsed time represented many years of WAITING and knowing that something very big was about to take place. It had not yet been revealed, though. At this moment, the Lord’s mighty hand stretched back out in front of her and grabbed the end of the sheet. He said to her, “Are You Ready?” Her reply was “yes,” and the sheet was pulled off and….. the vision ended. At this point, Michelle knew that something larger than life was about to be revealed, and that she and Alec needed to turn to prayer and consecration to determine what the “Reveal” truly was for this ministry. As He would show to Michelle and Alec, it was “the MOVEment.”

This is where “the MOVEment” begins. Revolution Ministries has been commissioned to take all that they’ve learned and all that they’ve been doing since the year 2000 for the entertainment community, and bring it to ALL (all races, all cultures, all ages) who long to see the amazing power and love that only He can demonstrate. It will be through the use of the visual arts, anointed musicians, and the spoken word that the revelation of God will be revealed at “the MOVEment.”
